Brief:
Zara and Inditex sought to provide their senior managers with an innovative team-building experience that was not only enjoyable and engaging but also offered valuable takeaways for personal and professional growth. With a diverse group of 150 senior managers, the event aimed to foster stronger team cohesion, boost morale, and equip the participants with practical skills for leadership, mental resilience, and effective communication.
Solution:
Who Dares Group crafted a comprehensive, bespoke program tailored specifically to meet Inditex's objectives. The day-long event kicked off with a series of keynote addresses focusing on leadership, mental resilience, and effective teamwork strategies. Recognizing the importance of practical, hands-on learning, the day was interspersed with interactive workshops including fun self-defence and soft skills training.
Participants were divided into smaller groups to facilitate deeper engagement and ensure personal attention during the workshops. Each session was designed to challenge the participants, encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones while fostering a supportive team environment.
To complement the physical activities, the event included written activities and team workshops focused on real-life applications of the skills being taught. These activities were specifically designed to enhance the participants' problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and communication skills, essential for their roles as managers within the dynamic retail industry.
The day concluded with a drinks reception, allowing the team to reflect on their learnings and experiences in a relaxed setting. This not only served as a perfect wrap-up to the day's events but also provided an excellent networking opportunity, further strengthening the bonds between the managers.
